“All Clear”

1.   Materials used must be 100% float glass. Nothing else added. No frit. No enamels. No mica. No coloring additives. No metals. No glass of any other kind. Nothing other than clear float glass.  

2.  No restrictions for technique.  It can be fused, it can be kiln cast, it can be pour cast,  it can be sandblasted or it can be flameworked.  It can be pieces glued together or it can even be something assembled by telepathic Jedi mind control.

3.  No size restrictions.  It can be as small as a bumble bee or as big as a battleship.  It can be a suncatcher handing between two silicon atoms or it can be a glass staircase reaching from your home to the orbiting space station.  Surprise us.

4.  It must have been made by the individual or group entering the contest. You can’t submit work you didn’t do.

4.  No age or location restriction.  It doesn’t matter how old you are or where you are.  We will even accept submissions from off planet – as long as they are certified “Made by Humans”.

5.  No copies of anything covered by copyright or trademark – remembering only a specific design is protected by copyright.  Techniques and ideas are not copyrighted so you are free to use them.

Each contest will run from the 1st day of each month to the end of that month with judging from the 1st day to the last day of the following month.

Participants will post photos of their projects on the Fun With Float Contest Page (Link will be posted on our Glass Campus Facebook page).   You can enter as many projects as you want as long as they are in the appropriate contest category.

Contest winner will be selected by public vote on the contest page.
