Yes, you can weave glass. This webinar will teach you how to make different molds for weaving glass and how to use molds to create woven glass in a variety of designs from simple linen pattern to intricate multi-level tartans. It will teach you how differing slump and drape spans produce entirely different effects and how different glass can be used to produce woven glass projects. Create spectacular glass art from your scraps. Learn how the swirling molten glass forms incredibly intricate patterns. This webinar will teach you how to control dimension and size, how different colors react in a melt, and how to work with different COE glass. The size of melts is restricted only by the size of your kiln. You can use them to produce amazing trays and bowls or to be cut up as cabochons for jewelry. Stainless steel mesh screens will allow you to create dramatically more elaborate designs then are possible with either shelf or post melts. A detailed tutorial is included with the webinar.

SUMMER GLASS ART CAMP
A full week of intensive glass art!
Taught by professional glass artisans Dane, Dennis and Jason Brady, this week long class is a comprehensive introduction to many different glass art techniques. You will make and take home a number of projects.
DAY 1 – Stained Glass DAY 2 – Fusing & Slumping DAY 3 – Embossing Glass DAY 4 – Torchworking Glass DAY 5 – Sandblasting Glass
We can create a part day, full day, or multi-day class for whatever you want to try and designed for any age group or mix. Maybe a family outing, a birthday party, or just a group of friends sharing a fun activity. CONTACT US for more info.
There is plenty of street parking evenings and weekends but a shortage during the day on weekdays. You can park up to 30 minutes in the Loading Zone at our front door. There is all day parking along David St. but it is almost always filled up on weekdays. Lots of 2 hour parking is available with a half block on Rock Bay Ave. If you park there, be careful to move to a fresh spot every couple of hours. ASSISTANCE - Whether you're a new beginner or a seasoned professional, our skilled artisans can supply technical assistance with your projects. (Assistance is available if needed, not for teaching purposes)
TOOLS - You can bring your own, or you can use ours. We encourage you to experiment with different tools and equipment before buying your own.
MATERIALS - You can bring your own or you can buy what you need from us at wholesale price. We also have an extensive collection of scrap glass you can use as needed.
STORAGE - Secure storage is provided for anything you want to leave here. Even very large panels can be left in protected storage.
DESIGN - Design your own, or bring in your ideas and we'll help you produce a pattern to work from.
