Two full days providing a comprehensive introduction to numerous glass art techniques.  You will make and take home a dozen projects while sampling many of the different ways glass is used to produce art.

Saturday & Sunday 9:30 am – 4:00 pm

STAINED GLASS
You will learn how to cut glass and how traditional leading and “Tiffany” foil technique is used to make stained glass lamps and windows.

FUSING & SLUMPING
Learn how to fuse and slump glass in a kiln to make beautiful bowls, trays, vases, and panels.  You will make a glass tile and a small glass tray or bowl to take home with you.

GLASS JEWELRY
Learn how to make glass jewelry including pendants, earrings, brooches, rings etc.  You will make several pieces to take home with you.

EMBOSSING GLASS
Make a kiln fired embossed glass tile to learn how this unique specialized glass art technique is used to create embossed patterns in glass.

TORCHWORKING GLASS
Time to light the fire.  Make a number of glass beads working in the flames of a torch.

SANDBLASTING GLASS
Create an etched glass design either from your own idea or from one of the many designs we have available.   Cut out the stencil and sandblast your design onto glass or mirror.
