I am in the process of printing a stained glass pattern book that I plan to
sell to the wholesale distributors. I have read the tutorials and I have
questions about the business part of this.

1. Who pays for the shipping?

2.What information do I put on the cover page when I send them a copy
of the book?

3.Is there a rule of thumb for discounts regarding the quantity sold?

4. Do distributors expect to buy on credit or will they pay in full?

5. Do distributors like to set up a contract with the seller, or is it a straight forward buy and sell process?

Any information you can give me is greatly appreciated.

Sorry for taking so long to respond. I missed your post.

1. Usually the buyer but you might consider offering a delivered price as an incentive.

2. Prices, term, and how to order.

3. Nope. Whatever is negotiated. There was a time when a book seller could expect quantity orders but that time is long long gone.

4. 30 days credit.

5. No contract. Simple buy and sell.
